Hi ALL, I got below news about "Coal India" is that true.
Coal India soaking Liquidity!
The initial public offer of state-run Coal India was subscribed 1.71 times by day two of the issue,19 Oct 2010. The government plans to raise about Rs 15,000 crore from divestment of 10% stake in Coal India.Markets are worried that the mega Rs 15000-crore initial public offer of Coal India, which is currently open for bidding, will soak liquidity from the secondary market.If the IPO is subscribed 5 times by 21st Oct 2010 then an amount to the tune of 15,000 X 5 = Rs60,000 crore will be locked in. But the good news is most of the money will come back into the market once the allotment is over.
