Hi venkat, ok. yes. it will be treated as a short sell on the 16th as you did not have delivery of the shares. these shares will go for auction on the 3rd day from the 16th. if the price of the shares comes down by then, then you will be in profit, else loss. also chk with your broker. some charge penalty in such cases. its always safe to sell a stock once it shows in your demat holdings
