Can I sell a script in intraday that I dont have in my account
A script XYZ I sold at 100 Rs. after that its price comes to +/-10 at that time bought the same, then my profit is +/-10 Rs. this is possible, If it is possible how I can do, what is the is it short sell,

Hi anwer, yes you guess is right, you sell x stock @ 100 thinking it will go down, if price go to 90 you get 10 profit vice versa,
Short sell is based on broker, your is geogit, short sell is limited to selected stocks, check stock list in your control panel.

hi anwer,
yes, that is short sell, under margin [not delivery] choice. Different broker softwares have different interface for this. See under Geogit trading screen what choice you have for Sell. Choose Margin and /or ShortSell. Or, simply give a call to Geojit CustomerCare and find how to do it. Any such ShortSell [not having in your DP] should be squared off [bought back] today itself. Also check by what latest time you need to buy it back.

But Short Sell should will be auto sqaure off by end of the day.
