Hi Aabha, Actually to be frank even I sleep very less but the quality of sleep is very important even if u sleep for 1 hour it should be a sound sleep, most of the doctors recommend minimum 7-8 hours but it is not possible for us as most of our time goes in travelling there are lot of people who come from Pune to Mumbai everyday for their work..But since CB is replying to lot of queries I am sure when he goes to sleep also he must be thinking about some stocks..It is a natural phenomenon..since his job is more of mental stress I advice him to sleep early and get up early...

Hi Akash, Exit from it now if they belong to current month options and I told u this thing in the earlier days to exit from them and re-enter in dips. I guess the current month OTM options will become worthless by expiry.

i took some bad decisions in the morning by exiting 5600 PE in loss (panicked) as well as booked losses on 5700 CE also both oct series. Main reason being new to options.

Can anyone advise me how to go about learning more about options so that i dont suffer from these mistakes.

Hi Shail, Aabha has already suggested u first go through the basic.. spend 1 hour daily reading try to understand, if u hv any doubt ask CB / Karthik / KB Trader (They are the best people to guide u). Then u start trading in options... till they no trading in options let anybody give the call. If at all u buy u shd buy 1 lot only and that also no panicking u shd just exit if stop loss is hit or book profit if target is met... But more than the target you shd strictly follow STOP LOSS.

Hi PK, Dont trade in options which is very very risky just by seeing the comments of others.Some times you see good profits and this will tempt you to invest all the capital you have with you and If time goes bad you will be in huge huge loss and some times you will loose all your money.So be careful

but frankly saying vishnu, i tired of earning small profit like 500 - 1000 rs.in a gap of 15 days and all...

Hi Vishnu, Good and very honest advice. I also keep on advising new comers to avoid future and options and do small trades by buying quality stocks and holding it for some time. If u hv noticed whenever any call is posted the first question everybody asks is 'What will be the target ?' It is very rare that somebody asks what will be the stop loss ? Please keep on advising the new comers about the risk of option trading. Most of the new entrants here enter with a very small capital. So the more people advice them the better it will be for them. Keep up the good job.

Only disadvantage is absence o charting software...otherwise this is the best broker for minimum charges and best service. Registration charges...but no amc. Demat is by IL & FS....

Hi abha sorry to interrupt in between, the lot that you carry ahead is for the price that you have bought,its just when you see the same in positions in the zerodha terminal i.e nse now that it would mention the calculations based on avg price..and i guess you received the contract note mentionin avg price..its mentioned in that way to give you a idea about your investments.. In short what you carry ahead is the price at which you bought last..

US and EU markets are in deep RED. Be ready for a good gap-down opening on Monday, probably it's good news for short-holders.
Likely to break 5600 level on Monday/tuesday and may break 5550 in next week. Book 50% profits in puts/short positions on Monday opening and book remaining profits @5550/20.,

Hi ankur, Never do this.Shorting a call (or put) carries unlimited risk.Moreover, you need to block a margin of around 25000 per lot.Better,buy a put if you think nifty will go down.
