Hi Karthik, it will go for auction on the 3rd day. whatever the market rate, it will be squared at that rate. if it comes down, you could be in some profit, else loss. penalty is usually 15% of the total amt..still confirm once with your broker. depends on broker to broker

CB...had bought opto circuits @ 232 today booked profits at 250....was it a risky bet?? I mean had the result been bad, it cud have tanked 5-10% right?? can we trade fundamentally strong stocks this way?? with strict sl?? wats ur opinion?

Hi shiva, yes, was a bit risky. but then risk is always involved in markets. at times you won't really get a chance to exit if results are bad. best to stay away from such cases or invest in small quantities
