Hi SM, Yeah you are right. but i generally don't use any margins. trade only on my capital. And i haven't tried futures yet, still getting a hang of options...

Hi SM, somehow i feel margins are like credit cards. You shouldn't really play on the money that you don't have in your pocket...I may be conservative. but i prefer it this way coz then i can sleep sound at night!

Hi Aabha, Yes,true. But if you start trading Futures or write options, the concept of margin automatically comes into the picture, whether you want it or not :)
