Hi CB and Everybody, Good evening :)

Sharing with you all what Moody's Analytics said today about India.

    1) India’s sharply slowing economic growth is a “cause for worry”
    2) India’s growth would slow from an expected 7.8% year-on-year in the first half of 2011 to 6.5% by mid-2012
    3) With inflation remaining stubbornly high at 9.72% in September, India’s central bank may be forced into further monetary tightening in the months ahead which would exacerbate the slowdown
    4) So far, the Reserve Bank of India’s 325 basis points’ worth of tightening must be judged a failure while domestic demand has been hit hard

These are some of the statements made by Glenn Levine, senior economist at Moody’s Analytics

Lets see what the future has in store for us :)

Hi CB,Hi Abdullah, GE,Thanks .Does that mean , it is better that we exit from MF'S [especially the Infra funds ,which are not catching up at all]
    Thank you.

Hi Abdullah, GE, thanks for sharing

Hi Deepak7791, not sure of Arss, no news on it, Bombay Dying faces strong support at 380, can give a bounce tomorrow from 380 levels

Hi Gitanjali, GE, Infra might take a while to recover, if in profits, would be safe to exit from a few of them (if holding more than 1)

Hi gaps, Aptech above 120 looks good

Hi Gitanjali, GE :) In my opinion, its not necessary that we exit altogether from MF's. Rather, I would suggest that you go for a SIP in some well chosen diversified equity MF( if you are into SIP,continue that ). To be on the safe side, out of every Rs. 100, deploy around Rs. 80 to 85 in diversified equity MF and the rest in some Debt fund. Do always take the SIP route.
As far as Infra funds are concerned, nothing much to say. Sharing an article with you. See the below mentioned URL and think and decide:

Hi sanzy, looking at US markets, seems may open a bit lower. at opening would advice to hedge it with a 220 put

    Hi Abdullah, Good evening

Hi himanshu, as of now seems markets may open lower tomorrow. can see 5070. if breaks support at 5070, then can test 5000. on the upside has strong resistance at 5150-5170

Hi Rise, they will take a bit longer. markets are overall in a downtrend. fundamentally both are good bets. hold them for now
