Coal India toppled Reliance Industries as the country's most valued company, with a slightly higher market valuation around mid-day. In the afternoon, Coal India touched a market cap of Rs 250,759.67 crore while Reliance Industries had a market cap of Rs 250,580.21 crore.
Crest Animation Studio has entered into an understanding with to form a joint venture with Reel FX Inc. a US based animation and FX studio. The stock was at Rs 36.95, down 1.20 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 37.85 and low of Rs 35.05 in trade so far.

Educomp Infrastructure and School management, a subsidiary of Educomp Solutions, has entered into a joint venture with Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam to set up a chain of 100 schools in India
Orchid Chemicals has re-opened its Cephalosporin API manufacturing facility located at Alathur, Chennai. The plant had earlier received a closure notice from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
The stock was at Rs 207.55, up 2.37 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 212.60 and low of Rs 202 in trade so far.

Kanoria Chemicals & Industries is considering to set up a solar power plant, with an initial capacity of 3-5 MW at an investment outlay of around Rs.50 crore. The stock was at Rs 34.75, down 0.71 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 35.50 and low of Rs 34.30 in trade so far.
Suzlon Energy has received 48.3 MW repeat order from Indian Oil Corporation. The project will come up in Andhra Pradesh in Q4 FY12. The stock was at Rs 37.30, down 2.86 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 38.85 and low of Rs 36.90 in trade so far.

Suzlon Energy has received 48.3 MW repeat order from Indian Oil Corporation. The project will come up in Andhra Pradesh in Q4 FY12. The stock was at Rs 37.30, down 2.86 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 38.85 and low of Rs 36.90 in trade so far.
Emami will complete a 1,000-crore acquisition in three months. The company is in final stages of negotiations with a couple of target firms in India and abroad, including the personal care business of Paras Healthcare, which Reckitt Benckiser bought last year and now plans to sell off.
The Competition Commission of India, or CCI, has slapped a 630-crore fine on DLF, threatening to turn an isolated dispute between flat buyers and India's largest builder into a full-blown headache for the industry grappling with soaring interest costs and dwindling buyers.
