Hi Ilavarasan, Brokers can never sell shares from your demat account unless you sell them yourself or you tell your broker specifically to do so. But if those shares are in your trading account and if you have utilised your margin and running at a loss, the broker can SELL your shares from your trading account (to compensate the loss without even informing you) , provided you have not compensated the loss by means of depositing money to your broker.
