Regarding investment in Mutual funds thru SIP my personal opinion administration charges charged by mutual funds eats away most of the profits...so it will be beneficial if he opens demat a/c. and invests directly in select good mid-caps ..Advantage no high admin charges + he will get tax free dividend on his holdings....if required I can try to give suggest some scrips...
If at all he has made up his mind to invest in Mutual fund then for best Mutual funds I request CB / Karthik sir to recommend...
Above is just my personal view...only advantage of SIP in Mutual fund is he will be taking position in various scrips with small amount but major advantage is most of the funds don't perform as expected even on long term...+ they keep on buying/selling to make up money on brokerages + admin charges

Hi K K, Also if he is going thru some broker for investing in Mutual fund the broker will get his KYC done...but if he is charging anything extra for this KYC then pls let me know as it is a very simple thing and we can get it done very easily...

Hi CB, Thank you sir for your valuable advise. I lost in F&O then switched to intra day cash trading. I am following ur calls for a long time,sometimes it gets triggered but within 2-3 days it hits the target as well. Sir I want to know can I take ur intra day calls with higher target as short term or only swing calls will be considered as short term call.Sorry to bothering u sir.
