I wanted to know while watching the financials of a company if DIV(%) is 100. Does it mean the dividend payout will be re1 per share. Can u send me a link where i can read how to choose good companies based on financials for INVESTMENT long term.

Hi Rajan, it depends on the face value of a stock. if face value is 10 and dividend 100% then it will be rs 10. and if its 10% then would be 1rs per share. yes. they are good long term bets.

Hi rajat, sorry! as of now nifty is trading in a 4750-4850 range. for now hold it. keep sl at 4850 or if nifty moves upto 4900 avg it out. on the downside if nifty breaks 4750 it can see 4680
