one more question. What happens if i short a share and it reaches lower circuit. What happens and how is the short covered?

How about entering Jayshree chemicals at cmp. I found some new on it. Would feel better if u explain about this bonus issue. I have attached the message below.

Hi chaitanya, ifci, ispat, noida toll are good market movers. if you short and stock reaches a lower circuit then you can buy it back. but if you buy a stock and then it hits a lower circuit then you could get stuck with it for some time. maybe a day or 2 till when it stop hitting lower circuits

Hi Pathi, no, dont enter a call at opening. if nifty does not manage to cross 4930 till noon then buy a 4900 put with strict sl at 4970

Booked Tatasteel...it was an amazing move to 40 with support of consolidated profit declaration..though hindalco I exited wrongly yesterday with a sound loss.
I have short 1 nifty at 4886. Any chance to get 30 points tmrw or budget and short cover rally continues?

Dear CB, Today I sold 50 shares of Jain Irrigation and still I am having 100 shares @ 880/-. The CMP is 860/-. Whether I may be able to exit tomorrow with some profit or loss is seen. Regards.
