Hi Aman, sorry! they are high dividend paying ones. go with large caps for regular bonus issues. stocks like Reliance, Bharti.

Dear, could you pls help me understand dividend payouts concept.
"when exactly shall one buy a stock and hold till when" to be eligible for it's dividend payout? i guess i has got to do something with the dividend announcement date and ex-dividend date, but not really sure of the specifics.
another thing is ,, what;s the mode of diivdend payment.. cheques/direct a/c transfer or something else?

Hi Pradeep, to get a dividend you can enter it a day before its ex-dividend date/record date (both are the same) and sell it a day after its date (ex-dividend), there are various modes to give it out, some companies prefer a Cheque, others direct etc.., thanks for your comments :)

Hi ras, It was in good humour.. I chose Istanbul of Turkey ,as I have seen most of western europe ,when younger.
Istanbul is very intersting more like any western europe , with lot more of history ..It is exhilarating to know that within minutes accross bosphorous river ..you can touch two continents- europe and asia ! Peolpe are v.favourable to tourists.. It thrives on tourism ..At one place ,at dinner , the singer sang Awara Hoon ..[had asked where I was from ]....He knew the words , I mumbled the tune along ..

It saddens to know that in India .. we have so much more to show off.. and yet we are the least tourist friendly of nations..we are dirty ..even around a gem like Taj mahal..
