which is the best process to average shares for long term, for example if i have bought jp assoc at 100, then 80, 60 like that, (or) every 50% declines, like 100, then 50, 25, 12.50, please tell me which method can i use for long term investment

its not advisable to average without knowing technical of the stock because stocks falling continue to fall further and some times may not bounce back to considerable level because of technical or fundamental.
For example during 2008 reliance capital was trading at 52week high.now its trading near 52week low.in the same time some other stocks like Gujarat fluro chemical are near 52 week high.
