Hi Kb, Nifty has been rising with increasing volumes for the last 4 trading sessions and has even managed to break strong resistance @ 5680 levels and is currently very bullish. This major upmove has resolved the factor of low volatality. if Nifty closes above 5800 this week, we may see very volatile markets in the coming days but major downside may not be expected. Nifty may test 5920-40 levels in near future and if it breaks it, we may test 6100 and 6260 levels in coming days. Nifty has major supports @ 5620, 5460 and 5300 levels.

Tomorrow's view:
Nifty today closed positive with rising volumes but traded well above the 3-day EMA from open to close. As such, we may trade flat with marginal gains / losses tomorrow.

S: 5766, 5720, 5673

Hi Kb, We can forecast that volatality will come due to the fact that the trading band has increased with this recent upmove. Even near supports are about 200 points lower and other supports much lower. so a 150-200 point move could be possible on any day, without having any impact on the trend.

Well, those days , back in Sep 2009 ' I was losing heavy and in exasperation , decided to pick stocks ,in advance of dividends payout ..Polyplex caught my eye as the dividend was good for those times .. abt 7 per share ..Immediately after receiving dividends .. Sold them .. It was not easy to sell full lot [500] ..Had to sell in batches as it trades in small vol..and 9 remained .. and today I am dumb struck .. profit in a year is =224% !!
I realize the reason for my losses are because ..I hold on to bears and sell off bulls ..
For experts like you lot here , it may not be a surprise ..But how to spot such scrips and how long to retain them ,plz ?

Hi Gitanjali, I had the same habit to hold on to bears and sell off bulls. But the system, I now follow is to buy @ strong Support levels when the scrip is unable to break it for a few days keeping strict SL @ breach of support and sell it @ strong resistance levels and no timeframe for it. Some trades may close in a day or 2, others may take 4-5 months. The same scrip may be re-entered again on dips if it breaks the Strong resistance level.

Before entering any trade, I set my Entry point, Stop Loss and Targets and re-adjust my Targets and S.L. on daily basis as per daily resistance and support. Finally after some experience learnt to overcome my emotions to hold on to losing trades and exit them the moment the SL is breached.

Most of the times cost of carrying a losing trade is 100 times more than exiting it with minimum loses and re-entering even at higher prices if it turns favourable again.

Hi Gitanjali, Py stands for pyramid entry. It is kept just above the support level from where 95% of times we may see a bounce.
