Yes you are correct. I gave these Short Option CALLS when Nifty made high's last week. This is the best way of miniting money from markets.
All these are OUT OF MONEY CALLs, They would end July expiry series with 0.05
FYI. While shorting in equity you will get margin based on intra / delivery. But shorting OUT OF MONEY calls / puts will be delivery base only. Most brokers charge 10 times margin. Ex: Selling BHEL 300 call @ 1.50 means 2000 * 1.50 = 3,000. So, 3,000 * 10 = 30,000 margin gets blocked.

Hi atechsaavy, Generally 10 times. Also shorting options (also called as Option Writing) is disabled by default for many users. You need to talk to your broker and to get it activated.
