cb sir,
"State Bank of India has informed BSE that the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Bank will remain closed from May 26, 2012 to May 31, 2012 (both days inclusive) for payment of dividend, if any, to be considered at the Meeting of Central Board of the Bank, scheduled to be held on May 18, 2012."
Does this mean that if sbi announces dividend then if someone purchase sbi share before 26th may and hold till 31st may then is he entitled for dividend.

hi kb,i have a basic question......i have 15K in my trading a/c,my broker told me that i can avail leverage of 4 time ( i.e. 60K) for delivery or position & 8-10 times for intraday.
if i buy stocks of 60k today,how long can i hold them,also will dey be credited to my dmat a/c or broker's ben a/c????????????
