CB this is an Analyst view on RIL:
Sell RIL with a target of Rs 975 per share and stop loss at Rs 1,095 per share.
Reliance is a confusion now. I was very confident that this stock is going up. It has been in a trading range for a year and the chances are that it will breakout over Rs 1,150. It did not do that after that final piece of news about the court case came in. In fact the Friday’s price action was very bearish. It has rallied on the back of world market and has not done much. Yesterday, it fell again. So, it is not going up and is not going to remain in a trading range for long.
My worries are that some of the other external factors––the price of gas, the problems with the offshore platforms spending a lot of money on safety measures, BP says that it will have to spend USD 15 billion on additional safety measures because of the gulf of Mexico problems. So these are issues that could easily come. So I am not confident, but the chances are that the Reliance could slide further. That is a stronger chance now.
Whats your view CB?
