Hi Gitanjali, No.. volume just indicates the crowd behind the action.. and color given changes with software's.. some gives green when volume increases from last day, while some others gives green when price increases.
Here is the idea given by Bill Williams ..
Price change & volume up > already in trend
Price change & volume down > fake move
In range & volume up > bull bear war & something is going to happen
In range & volume down > trend is fading
