Hello every one, am going through this site since a few weeks. Observed 75% positive calls given by so many great analysts. I would like to bring on this forum table something I learnt since past 3 years.

If you have 1 Lakh capital (example), pls use only 25-30K for trading max of 2 or 3 options daily, keeping balance 75K idle. Once you see a 5% profit in your option keep a SL at the point of 3% profit rate and closely watch its movement, increment SL with every rise (you are decision maker here) this will increase the profit or you are good with 3% if SL is hit at that place. Never keep SL below your purchase price while trading in Options. Always buy/sell at around 5% variance of support and resistance levels at minimum like 1 or 2 lots. In case of a drastic movement like today in Infy, try to average at 50% or below with a buying of 3 times or 4 times of your original lot count so it gets averaged at the day's lowest level price. With a little up in price, keep the SL so that your capital is intact with minimal loss. Never aim beyond 5% of profit on a day to day transactions. But move SL in increments when the price is moving up.

Also never buy options and keep them beyond 3-5 days unless you are very much sure shot on that, premiums will eat away with time lapse and you might end up with huge loss. Try not to carry options over weekend as 2 days of interest is lost in the option value. Nifty options are best for average profits than any other stock.

My 2 cents above might help to those in need (am not an advisor nor an anlayst but wanted to share my thought)

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Hi MURALI, would be better to hold them for some more with a SL at 72 for Sintex and 412 for Tata steel (both support levels)

Hi abhishek, hold them for another 2-3 days, should give a bounce soon

Hi ravi, hold the Nifty CE and LNT CE with a SL at 5640 (support), keep Infy with a tight SL at 2380, avoid entring stock options in "news" as they can be very risky
