MUMBAI, OCTOBER 12: Kajaria Ceramics Ltd has posted net profit of Rs 133.2 million in Jul-Sep, up 50.1% from a year ago.
Net sales in the second quarter was Rs 2.22 billion, up 20% from a year ago.
The company registered total expenditure of Rs 1.95 billion during the quarter, up 21.1% from a year ago.
The company will commence production from the unit III of Sikandrabad plant from February, the company release said.
The ceramic floor tile unit at Sikandrabad, in Uttar Pradesh, is being converted into vitrified tile unit by adding balancing equipment of Rs 193.8 million, the release said.
The 6-million-square-metre a year polished and glazed vitrified tile facility at Gailpur, in Rajasthan, is expected to go on stream by January.
