Hi CB, Bought 5200 put@58 as u suggested, got very huge loss and my investment depreciated 85% as of now. Please tell will i get my bought price or atleast Rs.30-40 before expiry. Really i am worried about my future in market.

Hi Agy, the CE price moves with the Nifty, if you are holding a CE and Markets continue to trade higher, your CE too shall rise, but % gain depends on the Contract you are holding, if nifty reaches 5400, the gain for 5400 CE shall be greater than 5300 CE

Hi Agy, ITM contracts are exercised with the closing price of Nifty on the day of expiry as per the strike price. If you hold 5300CE and 5400PE Nifty expires at 5380, then 5300CE will be 80 and 5400PE would be 20.
