Hi CB,
Nifty Trading Strategy: Nifty Call Ladder: Buy one Nifty May 6900 call option @270-275, sell one May 7200 call option @150 and sell one May 7400 call option @95. Net cost (out flow): Rs 30 per share Maximum Gain: Rs 270 if Nifty expires between 7200-7400 levels. Upper Break-Even: 7670, above which loss will be unlimited. Maximum loss: Rs 30 per share, if Nifty expires below 6900 levels. One Lot = 50 Share, Margin Required: Rs.60000 (approx), Maximum Gain: Rs. 13,500 Max Loss: Rs.1500 if Nifty expires below 6900 and unlimited above 7670. One would make a gain of Rs 30-50 on May 13 if Nifty trades between 7000-7300. The strategy could gain Rs 40-180 if Nifty hovers between 6950-7450 on May 16. On expiry day, one can make a gain of Rs 20-270 points if Nifty expires between 6950-7750 levels. In case market corrects sharply to below 6900 (ex: scenario 3), the max loss will be limited to Rs 30.
