I was really fool that I sold Axis bank Sep 1100 CE at 10 Rs. which hit 74+ next day. It cud hv given me good profit and I could be in position to stop intraday or option trading also... small gain will not help me at all.. it may take 20-25 years to recover my loss if I settle on small gains... at least 2-3 big gains are surely required (like AXIS Bank 1100 CE Sep)... Hi cerulean, yes. on any time frame (5days, 15days, 1month, 3months...) EOD charts, it is positive. But IMHO, for intraday trading or for few days positional trading, looking at EOD charts can be a disaster sometimes. If the holding time frame is more than, lets say, 10 days or so, then we can make a try and follow that PSAR level

Hi cerulean, For Crude intraday, you can try to follow charts in your trading software/terminal given by your broker. Though you can add any tools/indicators that suit you, best option will be to study price patterns along with volumes. Since trading time is 13 and a half hours for the day, consult different timeframes and keep the chart simple. Too much indicators spoil the party :)

Hi Paritosh, U r welcome, I dont believe in any brokers call, normally most of the brokers send contradictory calls to some of their clients they will ask 50% of their clients to buy XYZ stock and 50% of their clients to sell XYZ stock. So 50% of their clients will be buying the same stock and 50% of their other clients will be selling that stock. If price goes up 50% who bought are happy that the brokers call is perfect and if it goes down remaining 50% who sold are happy. And either way the brokers get their brokerage both on selling and buying... To be frank I dont even read the reports which my brokers send to me

and possibly 85 can test today . but I am not in that surge. I prefer to have a profit without any loss for intraday only . Still in this volatile Market Nobody can test a Call with out Sl .

Why everybody gives SL in Stock market . Bcoz all are unsure of the Specific direction . We can make some point vivd out from exeriences and technicalls where it can head towards. In anycase it return u need to exit at Sl ehich is the directon changer....So hope u get a Technical Analysts perspective !

Dear i even did the same for many times. I burnt my fingers very nicely for being greed in the past.

But i started playing a strategy in this scenario's off late. After booking the profit at lower levels, i start buying again the same call if i am very confident and i will take the risk on the profit amount.

Ex. Say today i bought 5700CE at 55 and sold at 65 ( 10 lots ). So my profit if 5000.

Then again i buy 5700 CE at 75 levels. In this case my SL would be 65 since my profit is just 5000. In this i am safe guarding my capital.

Again its my view.

Hi Raj Gupta, Plz buy 3000 calls to hedge and be on safe-side. Buy calls and puts of INFY in 1:1 ratio. INFY can head in either direction during it's results and it's tough to predict it's movement as it's been continuously falling since 3 quarters.

Friend i agree to you an extent. As far we doing only 2 or 3 trades its fine with very less stop losses or hedging your risk against that day's profit.

What i experienced was, say i booked loss in first trade. I will try to cover my loss in my second trade but in case if i again book losses. It will repeated because of fear of losing capital. Then i decided irrespective of profit or loss i always do only 2 or 3 trades per day.
