Price-Up OI-Down Long Unwinding
Price-Down OI-Up Fresh Shorts
Price-Down OI-Down Short Covering
The problem is we cant predict how the longs or shorts will be kept. Today i can initiate a long and next day itself they may sell. So we cant assure that a stock will go up if fresh longs are initiated.

Hi MURALI,
Best thing is one should catch the rally on a stock probably from very next day after the longs has been initiated.
Because till date unless or otherwise a really bad news comes for the index or a stock nobody unwinded their longs on the next day itself.
Its applicable for Shorts also. Nobody covered their shorts on the next day itself unless very positive news comes to the market.
This games are mainly for FII. So you should check every day EOD to see that kind of stocks.

Hi Priyanka,
ADR is UP because of speculation like how we are doing here.
Remember Infy stocks used to fall atleast 1-3% before results and it felled as much as 10% on the results days.
But this time speculation is very high since rupee depreciated to historic high of 57 vs USD in this qtr.
Anyway i am not holding any positions. If you are holding then gud luck.
