Today you gave Sell call in Suzlon. As i am holding [email protected] purchased yesterday.
What do u suggest me should i keep my positions on Monday or book loss. Till now US and Europe looks good and if market move forward Suzlon will definetly catch the sentiment.Kindly comment.

    Hi CB,

If i purchase a Call Contract of nifty for some strike price, premium 50. If i get 2 lots... total value will be 2500... if before expiry the premium falls to 40. What will be the total loss incurred.... 50*10=500 or all the premium which i have paid.

What actually happens when we buy the contract and what happens when we execute the contract when it expires....Kindly throw some light on it

harsh i guess if u have purchased two lot of nifty call say with 50 rs premimum ;then u have to pay 2*50*50=5000;because lot size of nifty option is 50 and then brokrage;if before expiry if primium is 40 then market value of ur call is 2*50*40;means u will loose rs1000.
let CB says what happen if i didnt sell that option ;then what will happen?does nse will automatically settle the open postion?
