Hi PKP, Ok. I think you know selling first and buying later is allowed in securities. For shares (EQ) you can sell first and buy before markets close for trading in the same day. For Futures and Options you can sell first and hold you positions till expiry. People do this when they expect price to come down.

Hi PKP, Also note in case of options if you think Nifty or the Stock in question will fall you can sell a CE (or buy PE). If you think the reverse will happen you can sell a PE (or buy CE)
