Hi Robotguy, dont worry call some technical assistant to recover data as soon possible.there is lots of good software available. if u dont have knowledge in recovery dont do it urself.any mistake will make u to lose the data permanently.

Hi SAI, ya I thought he was our regular computer guy he was just supposed to load Tally on my computer, but stupid not only deleteted my data but also formated my computer...I had gone out but instead of my usual computer guy the software fellows had deputed some other stupid to load tally on my computer....Cannot even imagine what he has done...just re-loaded xp again....everything else is gone...

Hi Robotguy, hi sir.... there is lots of recovery software available on net or with programmer or with the system engineer, they can easily recover the data....
just now i had read on net....
sir best is the CB sir, as he himself is from IT background.... definitely he might b having some knowledge about this...

Thank you for concern, but the problem is the computer guy not only deleted my data but has also formatted my computer and loaded new system, I am sure once it is formatted and computer switched off and new system loaded again it is difficult to retrieve the data...

Hi Robotguy, sorry to hear that.. I did chk with a guy, it is possible to recover it if the dirve is formatted but costs invloed is very high. between 20k-100k. unless its nothing very important, i guess its best to leave it as is
