But i still want to know what exactly is a trailing SL, and how does one use it?

Hi DS, Don't keep a monthly target...just keep a very small Intraday target of 0.50% and u can make 0.50 x 20 = 10% every month and 120% per year...but what most of the traders try to do in Intraday trading is expectation to make 10% per day and end up loosing 20% every day :-)

Karuturi went from 5 to 25...if i had used a SL it could have gone to 3, bang there goes the capital and no chance for it to go upto 25...rather than SL isnt averaging a better way out?
