Intraday calls for 10-12-09

Posted on: December 10th, 2009 at 9:19 am

Markets likely to see a flat opening. Intraday support for nifty is at 5090 and resistance at 5160

Buy Texmaco Ltd at 141.65, target: 149. Stoploss: 137
Buy Lakshmi Energy & Foods Ltd at 147.15, target: 154. Stoploss: 142

Trade in small quantities considering market volatility. As I am updating these calls Asian markets are seeing some selling pressure. In case nifty sees a gap down opening, buy these stocks on dips with adjusted stoplosses.

Update: After Dubai, financial crises seems to be spreading in Greece and Spain

2.15pm – intraday cum btst – buy indusind bank in small quantity at cmp 146.80 target: 153. stoploss: 143

JP Ass - Please clear my doubt too.
After split how far down the stk will open. Ex: if the price is 240 then will it go down to 120 - 130 range ?

karthik in case of JPASSOCIATE 2:1 means.....for every 2 shares i'll be getting 1 share or for every 1 i'll be getting 2 shares.
another thing i want to ask is like i am holding 100 JP
50 i bought 2-3 months back and 50 i bought in Nov mid......any idea that all these shares will be entitled for this stock split or some of them.....

    Hi fouzan, most welcome,

Hi Piyush, bonus means that you will get more shares in terms of numbers, but the price may likely be the same eg: suppose you have 2 shares at 230, then after the split you will have 3 shares at 153 per share (approx)

Ex-bonus date is the date on which the stock trades without the bonus shares. In other words, if you want to get the bonus shares then the last day to buy the stock is the day before the ex-bonus date.

The shareholders that are in the register on this date, get the bonus shares. The record date is set so that if you buy the stock on the day before the ex-bonus date then by the time your trade settles you are in the register.

Hi harsh, for every 2 held you shall get 1 extra, all the shares you hold shall be entitled for the bonus

Hi friend, exit it tomorrow at 50 levels, as some profit booking could come in at higher levels
