The Indraprastha Gas (IGL) stock shed 39% to Rs 220 after the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) directed it to refund excess tariff.

Hence PNGRB directed IGL to reduce its selling prices and refund the difference in the two tariffs with immediate effect.

The regulator also said that it will issue directions on how the company should refund the excess tariff charged to customers for the last four years at a later date.

Meanwhile, shares of other gas companies also tumbled anything between 8-10% following this news. For instance, Gujarat State Petronet slipped 8% to Rs 70.60 and Gas Authority of India was also down 4%.

what I actually heard about vikas wsp is this:

Vikas wsp was always a fundamental good company but promoter always showed its profit less than achieved and compensated for his loss making companies. Also due to less promoter holdings, operators were active on this stock. Now in last few months, promoter has increased his stake and intended to show good growth for vikas. The estimated profit Q4 is 600 Cr.

need your advice on jet airways.....was holding at 335 since one month....everytime it used to go upto 346-347 and go back to 322-325 in couple of days....the whole month it was in that range....today out of frustration exited at the same high around 348 just as market closed.... after that only saw the news that fdi aviation is to be decided on thursday.....

pl advice whether i can buy around this level 340 tomorrow at open....or better to leave it, as , if the fdi doesnt happen, it may go back to the same 320 or lower also...

had a beating in shalimar paints today....holding at 470, saw 508 yesterday but didn't take the profit hoping for bigger gains... pl advice whether advisable to average..(already holding huge quantity...so not sure)

booked real good profits in advanta and surprisingly it came down well after i sold...(usually reverse happens)!!
