India's food price index rose 8.69 percent, while the fuel price index climbed 9.99 percent in the year to Nov. 27, government data on Thursday showed.
In the prior week, annual food and fuel inflation stood at 8.60 percent and 9.99 percent, respectively.
The primary articles price index was up 12.66 percent in the latest week compared with an annual rise of 12.72 percent a week earlier.
The wholesale price index , the most widely watched gauge of prices in India, rose 8.58 percent in October from a year earlier compared with 8.62 percent in September.
