Adam Sarhan, founder and chief executive officer of New York-based Sarhan Capital, said that over the past eight weeks, U.S. stock markets undercut their 50-day moving average lines, which marked support for most of the summer, and are now serving as resistance to any gains.
“And now the major averages are testing their 200-day moving average lines which are currently serving as support,” he said. A couple of major indexes broke those support levels on Wednesday, and that could open up the way for more selling, he warned.
Moving averages offer average closing prices for a stock or index over a defined period of days, helping traders identify trends.

Among the 200-day moving averages to watch:
12,991 for the Dow Jones Industrial Average which was broken Wednesday.
1,380 for the S&P 500 SPX, which is still holding.
2,982 and for the Nasdaq Composite NDAQ, also broken Wednesday. Sarhan said a key question for now is whether the current pullback — so far a relatively mild one — gets worse and enters correction territory, typically defined by a decline of more than 10% from a recent high.
He identifies dangers for the market that could trigger more selling:
Continuing technical deterioration for heavy-hitting stocks like Apple Inc. AAPL
-0.04% , which he said broke its 200-DMA last week ;
A European debt-crisis flare up;
Signs of U.S. economy or global economic slowdown;
A new Chinese government that isn’t so friendly to the U.S.
And last but not least, the U.S. going over the fiscal cliff.
“Bottom line: Investors want to know what catalyst (s) will help the market rally from here,” Sarhan said.

What history tells us about the days after elections::

I am afraid I may have encouraged investors to expect that a big down day after the election would reverse itself as early as the next day. Such a turn of events would be very welcome, of course, given the Dow’s drop on Wednesday of more than 300 points
Unfortunately, though, the reversal to which I referred in my post-election column is over the longer term: between what the market does on the day after the election and its direction over the full four years of the subsequent presidential term.
That reversal does not apply to what happens on the day after the day after the election.
Consider the 15 elections since 1900,
Dow dropped on the day after. In eight of those cases, the market rose on the next day, the second trading day after the election while it fell in seven. That’s about as close to a coin flip as you can get.
I suppose diehard optimists could detect some silver lining in these results: A big down day after the election doesn’t necessarily lead to even more downside the subsequent day. Still, it’s a stretch.
A far better idea is to focus on all the same fundamental and technical factors on which we would focus any other day.

No one is responsible for your PL (profit and loss).

Here everyone shares their views based on the market conditions & knowledge and their personal risk appetite & trading style.

It is up to us to follow their calls or not, if you are convienced enough, then you may trade it (paper trade /real trade).

But we are so impatient, matter of fact we are greedy and with no money management skills. We never have good idea of the risk in most of the cases.
We never test someone's trading ideas, how good are his/her trading calls? what's the success ratio? etc to quantify the quality of calls.

Advise : Better late than never!
Advise : Never more that 10% in any single trade
Advise : Plan a trade and Trade plan (know your risk and rewards in all casess, up/down/sideways/timestop)

I recommends the same calls to my circle in my area to rich/financially sound people by demanding 20-30%% cut from their grand profits and they are very very happy with my recommendations and in case, if they get loss, I use to recover it immediately with my next calls.
But here, am providing all this same calls/information for free and I never thought to be commercial near these people in this site even in my dreams. I said the same thing to Aabha/NH 1 month back when they sent me a mail and again letting all know abt myself. People shall not under-estimate others.

Hi HAM, Ichimoku is best suited for positional trades and sometimes work wonders on EOD charts. Volatility is maximum in commodities and huge movements occur in a single day. Traders hardly keep position overnight, they liquidate most of their positions within the day. If they are in good profits they may choose to keep one or a few open positions overnight. Also considering global markets, Commodities and Currencies are traded 24 hours considering when one market closes another remains open. So, too muck of stake is at risk. Ichimoku on intraday charts will not be that much good. I am not telling you not to go for Ichimoku, but first, try to get hold of intraday charts. Just a suggestion from my end :)

Undoubtedly, it was my day but didn't get profits in lakhs, only 23,000/- cuz I booked 70% profits in my puts yesterday and later bought some before closing at highs near 5740.. But this time puts hasn't increased much, extrinsic value shrinks... Just holding only 30% as of now with SL of 5750. Will short again, if breaks 5640 support level...

Obama 'Open to New Ideas, but Rich Must Pay More tax::

President Barack Obama said Friday he was "open to new ideas" in efforts to resolve the fiscal crisis, but he insisted that raising taxes for the wealthy must be part of any deal.
The president also announced in a punchy, televised White House statement, his first public appearance since his election night address, that he would call top Republican and Democratic leaders to the White House next week.
"I'm not going to ask students and seniors and middle class families to pay down the entire deficit while people like me making over $250,000 aren't asked to pay a dime more in taxes. I'm not going to do that."
Obama's approach left room for negotiation with Republicans and could possibly permit a compromise that keeps income tax rates the same for the rich, but involves a removal of deductions on investment income.
He spoke at the White House in front of invited guests who applauded his comments, but Wall Street didn't like what it heard. Stocks surrendered some earlier gains.
It was Obama's most detailed comments on trying to avert the so-called "fiscal cliff" since he won re-election Tuesday.
He also invited business and congressional leaders of both parties to the White House next week for talks on how to avoid the "fiscal cliff."
He urged Congress to act, including passing a bill that would prevent Bush-era tax cuts from expiring for all but the wealthiest Americans.
He said the plan must spur jobs and economic growth. And while the talks are under way, he called for extending the middle class tax cuts now.
Earlier, House Speaker John Boehner said he was "hopeful" that Republicans and the Obama administration can resolve the fiscal crisis.
"This is an opportunity for the president to lead," the Ohio Republican told reporters.

I had posted reply y'day. 2 GB is more than enough for browsing provided u dont download any movies. 1 day before the expiry of your recharge just check how much balance is left if u hv enough balance then instead of wasting that u can download whatever u want. Some service providers also carry forward the leftover balance suppose you have 50 kb left then when u recharge they add this balance to your new recharge Hope I have not confused you.
