Hi rana, not sure where we would get nifty dma's..we can calculate it manually. if you want to calculate 10dma than add last ten days closing price and divide by 10. I shall ask the programmer to put this up on our site

Hi CB, please suggest some free charting software for MAC-OS which can show real time chart and could suggest support and resistance for a particular scrip.

Hi CB,
Gud evening.
bought Alakli metal @ 275. Presently its around 208. Do you see is there any chance of going up. ON friday you told us that its operator stock. What is the meaning on that? Can i sell it so that to avoid further loss or shud i hold & wait for momentum?
Also Godrej is also going down what's your suggestion for Monday's call.

Please refer my earlier message 9th oct 9p.m (Yesterday)about IFCI. Kartik suggest that short term target ifci is 160 levels. It is Mistake or correct suggestion.
Further i can enter monday in this script at 54 level for short term benefit.
IFCI or IDFC which one is include nifty on 22nd.

Hi CB,
Is there any mathematical/Approxiamation model that you follow for Intra-day swing trades. How we can know that a stock has reached a top for the day(probably to place a sell future:) ).I will generally use some approxiamations and most of the times it will be correct but if it is wrong all the profit in early trades will be gone :).I still remember all red mondays in 2008 with 800-1000 pts fall in a day.Sometimes when Iam in icicidirect.com Favourite page and know that marktet will fall,by the time I go to Sell page all the distruction might have happened already.Sometimes I will be left with 2-3 seconds to make a decision.Even we observe sensex,up/down will happen in 5-10s and sensex stays there.Just an example on thursday I have CromptonGreaves sell future@335,all the day it stayed there but in less than 5s some time around 2:30ish it is at 323.What are the best practices you follow during these times? Please throw your views/experience on this.Appreciate your help.
