Will the mkt open gap down ,followed by buying interest and close higher..[like how it did previously..?]Can we enter long,for just intra day ,Or wd it be wiser to buy a PE when nifty is higher during the day ..In other words , will there be gap down openings for a few more sessions.. pl?

Hi CB, last week was really happening for me.. was holding 2 lots of IDEA future @ 100.50.. cleared 1 lot @ 103 but greedy mind said wait for 105.. and then yesterday morning cleared that remaining lot @ 100.90.. and then IDEA dropped to 97 :-) huge loss avoided and exited with some profit.. also was short in Nifty @ 5042.. you suggested to wait and now it closed @ 5043.. nifty touched 5165 in last week.. here also huge loss avoided and may take some profit in coming week... really thanks a ton for your support and guidence !

I ONCE SENT U MY PORTFOLIO HAVING FOLLOWING SHARES
PANTALOON(330),HCL(490),CROMPTON(188),YES(322),TATA SPONGE(340),ON MOBILE(100),SOUTH INDIAN BANK(24),TATA MOTORS(1070).
EXCEPT FOR TATA MOTORS ALL STOCKS RECOVERED A BIT.BUT THEY ARE STILL NOT AT MY BUY RATE.
CURRENTLY MARKET WILL AGAIN GO DOWN.SIR PLEASE ADVICE ME WAT TO DO.IF I SELL MY ALL SHARES EXCEPT FOR TATA MOTORS I WILL BE IN 6K LOSS AND FOR TATA MOTORS INDIVIDUALLY 6K LOSS.

Hi vipul, these are fundamentally good bets. keep a litter longer. don't add more of these yet. would advice to enter 2-3 nifty 4900 puts to hedge these for now.
