Pretty sure if you buy options the margin/capital at risk is the premium price and not the actual value of the contract.

I mean if an option expires worthless the downside is limited...so pretty sure that if one buys/sells a 410 CE/PE one only has to pay around the 20 rupee mark...

Of course if one shorts in the Future mark then it can be unlimited losses/gains but in options both profits and losses are ltd ..

Can any other person please confirm which is the correct one here?
