CB / Kartik .. need help .. I was holding Wipro 420 PE .. suddenly I see it gone out of my portfolio and it says Buy Close out. I called ICICI direct and they said that it has done from the exchange. Wipro has expired all last 3 months contract .. I do not understand what does it mean ... can you please guide me? I was holding it @ 2 rs where as it is currently 17 rs .. is there any way I can do something?

Anyone faced the same situation like me? Please let me know.

Because of this, all contracts of Wipro has expired and been square off by the exchange. Call your broker and ask for clarifications regarding penalties in your trading account, if any. Also check your contract note for clarifications

Hi Kartick, Further clarification : All Future and Options contracts of Wipro of Apr, May, June, expired yesterday. Hence your contract also expired. Now, from today, they are again reinstated. So, in plain and simple terms, FRESH contracts are available for trading from today onwards
