Hi CB, My parents had some of ..reliance , jp asso, tatamotors ,,and tata steel ..done in my name .Reliance I know is about 800 + others I am not sure ..these would have added up to so many after all the splits and bonus etc.. through the years
I had told my mum to convert it into my younger sis' name ..But she hadn't ...now friend of dad who used to do the dealings in stocks for them .. has told me not to convert ..But I have to keep my promise ..there are issues of taxes which I want to clear and pass it on to her ..can you kindly tell what is the best way to go about this matter ...Where can I get more info please ?

Hi Gitanjali, not really sure if you will have to pay tax if you transfer the shares.. guess you will need to contact a lawyer or a broker.. dont know much about transfers..
