Intraday calls for 09-03-09

Posted on: March 9th, 2009 at 9:26 am

Markets likley to see a gap down opening..

Nifty has very strong support at 2500-2540. Below this level Nifty could see a free fall. Go short only if Nify breaks 2500.

If markets show recovery later during the day, buy: HDFC and Reliance Industries.

Hi CB, is it possible that market can touch fresh lows in coming days so that I can square off all my holdings with huge losses and buy at low prices?

Hi Shiny, no.. Rolta is in a downtrend.. let it stop falling and form a base..

Hi Vinesh, Nifty has strong support at 2500 level.. below this we could see a free fall.. either keep a sl at 2500 or avg them if Nifty goes below 2400 levels..

Hi CB, thanks for avoiding me to buy HDIL around 68 levels as I was very much interested in the stock and now it is trading at 64.

Hi Vinesh, most welcome.. dont start buying yet.. we will get stocks at much cheaper rates..

    Hi Shiny, most welcome..

Hi Rajesh, yes.. the longer it holds the harder would be the fall once it breaks it support.. if it does not break 280 today, short sell it whenever it does so in near term.. Same with Unitech.. its a sell below 24

Hi Vinesh, Continue to hold.. Once Nifty breaks 2540 it could shoot upto 100-120
