hi Dj,can u let me know how to short?i have understood the logic but dont know how to do it(in my trading terminal i'm only having option to buy or sell a share,there is no provision for short selling..
do we have to buy any PE to short or its just similar to buying and selling a share?

Short means sell,so when u think a stock may move down and u sell ,that is Short.a stock which u dont have u can sell but only in futures,and in cash and in margin there r selective scripts.so when u want to go short,sell it
