Hi Kb, if the stock price is rising and the open interest is rising too, it indicates that the stock might see some more upmove in the coming days, you in your case increase in OI of a PE, the future ternd depends on the today's performance of the contract, if it fell today, it indicates that it might see some downside in the coming days and vice versa, hope this helps: http://nseguide.com/what-is-open-interest/

but take example ..
Today nifty was trading above 5000 .. 5000 PE were adding on in OI... Cb told its selling Of PE thats happening ..
And when It came down.. all OI relieved ... can you explain this??
All were bull minded & covered at last ?? thats what happened ??

Hi Kb, yes, once Nifty saw some downside, all the traders who were holding Puts booked profits in a view that in the coming days Markets might recover, and hence it led to a drop in the OI, but more depends on how Global markets trade in the coming days

Today is the Ex date for the 1:2 Bonus issue of Rallis.
Thats why it went down proportionately (Rs.500 down).
Hence, it will not go up by Rs.500 tomorrow, as you have suggested.

looks like u r not on line, ans is i am sleepy, i sleep by 8, 8.30 and latest by 9, to get up at 3.30.
by the way i am teetotaler , but in young age was to drink good qty w/out causing any problem to me or others, I had started smoking from 7 th std, and quieted it 6 months
back. but i am yet like spicy n non veg food in spite of my Dr. said strictly no, in home i get only veg w/out salt.
