Hi DS, Today market is closed due to 'Ram Navami' so trying to complete pending office work....There is nothing to discuss...There are various option strategies and most of the strategies are rarely useful for us...Most of them are for Mutual fund / Asset Management guys...what I was trying to bring out was to hold goods stocks in our portfolio and hedge it with options.....:-)

Hi BS, not really sure of the ratio, but I suppose the merge has already been taken place in feb 13, when the prices of Cinemax fell by 33%, technically cinemax faces strong support at 280, continue holding it for short term with a SL at 275 for a target of upto 300

Define good stocks...I had KGL which went from 5 to 25, Gayatri Project which went from 60 to 600, and Aban from 250 to 1250...in a year, 06 months and one freaking day to be precise.
So you are saying just keep on buying say the top 20 stocks...and every time it hits a peak buy a PE to hedge against a sudden fall is it?
So how will it work and how much capital would be needed to successfully carry off such a trade....looks to be a big sum in crores right?

Chess and me that needs brains and free time...I have neither. Work in office from 09 to 06.
Then do household chores from 07 to 09...In Australia lots of hard work is needed to just maintain a house, mowing lawns, ironing, replacing roof tiles..and the list goes on and on.
