Hi j k nambiar, hedge means entring the opposite trade, eg: if you have entered Call in options (or a long in cash market) and the stock goes down breaking its strong support level, you may enter a Put (or short the stock in cash Market) to cover some of your losses, Yes, its BankNifty future
