The PIVOT value and R1, R2, S1, S2 are calculated from previous days values ... and are valid for the current days trading...I have checked it many many times over past 2 years.
Regarding GANN, you are right.... the market value at 9:30 will be more accurate and stable (the initial market volatility from 9:15 to 9:30 can be avoided)...but I am taking the pre-market close value/market open value in GANN because many in this forum (including me) enter the market right at 9:15 for day trading....so these values give a good guidance...I have noted for years that the initial up move will reverse mostly at R2 (GANN) or just below it....so I usually have two targets...T1 (50%) will be my own target and T2 (50%) will be CB sirs target. :-)

Please look at today's price action of AXIS BANK in cash segment...pre-market close...1555...high made in first 10 mins...1563.25... after that for the past 1 hr 40 mins , the price is between 1556 and 1560...GANN values at opening are R1- 1560.25 & R2- 1570.14... I entered at 1555.90 and placed sell order for half qty at 1565 (middle point of R1 & R2...but when the price stopped at 1563.25, I changed the order to market order and sold @ 1560.40....now I have only half qty balance, waiting for target.....the small profit I have taken will take care of the brokerage and other charges.

BUT I know ur brokerages are high which makes it a loss to split orders (min bokerage rs.21 per order).
Regarding AXIS BANK, keep the s/l given by CB sir.... 1541... target... T1 as 1563 and T2 CB sirs target 1573.

Hi JS, Hi ankush, Yes your broker is correct, if you sell any shares which is not credited in your demat a/c. the risk lies fully on you....but some brokers do give BTST facility for some specified scrips better u check up with your broker...Send them an email and tell them to reply so that their reply remains in your mail box as a proof of what they say...
