Hi ankush, simple. when you buy a share, delivery happens on T+2. remember when you are selling on T+1, shares have not been credited to your demat account. just think, you have sold on T+1, and on T+2, if shares do not arrive in your demat ac because of bad delivery, what happens then? auction

Hi JS...why dont u just clear all confusion with broker rite now...tell them u r hvin stock in hand..and Sell it if u gt ur rate..
Ask them what they mean by risk...
I dont knw what kind of risk they are talking about..coz short delv risk will not occur practically..
