For every 4 shares of RNRL you get 1 share of Rpower. The Reason for the huge fall is that ,based on yesterdays RPOWER closing price of 175 Rs the fair valuation of RNRL stands at 175/4 which is approx 44 rs, Hence this fall. I think you should hold on but CB is a expert to tell you exactly on what you should be doing.

The reason is the Merger announcement between RPOWER and RNRL. RNRL with merge with RPOWER .For every 4 shares of RNRL you get 1 share of Rpower. The Reason for the huge fall is that ,based on yesterdays RPOWER closing price of 175 Rs the fair valuation of RNRL stands at 175/4 which is approx 44 rs, Hence this fall.

On a second thought before closing for lunch , last Friday's low was 5225.60, below
5214 nifty will correct.

no, those who have rnrl will get rpower in the ratio 4:1

The boards of two Anil Ambani-led power majors, Reliance Natural Resources and Reliance Power, on Sunday approved the merger of the two companies in a 4:1 share swap ratio.

As per the merger Reliance Power shareholders will get four RNRL shares for each share held and RNRL shareholders will get one Reliance Power shares for every four held. However, the exchange ratio will be based on valuations by KPMG.

RNRL investors would be worried, as the ratio seems unfair, a 20% discount price from RNRL current Market price
