Hi suzane, There are many methods & indicators for identifying trend. ..
Use RSI + MACD .. thats commonly used. .
Use both leading & lagging indicators together to identify & confirm trend.

Hi suzane, The most reliable thing in intra day charts is breakouts of price & volume. don't rely much on intra day charts, always check the short & long term trend before investing ..
