Hi arun bj, Good evening. here is the news. its a bit negative.. was out on 25th feb " EIH Ltd has informed BSE that the Company recognised Rs. 967.60 million andRs. 526.76 million as income on account ofinsurance claim against losses due to business interruption during theFinancial Years 2008-09 and 2009-10, respectively.Against the said claim, the insurance Company has settled an amount of Rs.1,124.52 million on February 22, 2011, resultingin a shortfall of Rs. 369.84 million which will be accounted for as lossduring the quarter and financial year ending March31, 2011. Further, against losses on account of damage to the Company'sproperties as per books of account amounting to Rs.107.17 million, the insurance Company has settled the claim at Rs. 174.22million on replacement value basis on February 22,2011 resulting in a surplus of Rs. 67.05 million which will be accountedfor as income during the quarter and financial yearending March 31, 2011."
