    Hi CB Sir,

I have few questions on Techincals, could you kindly answer these. Since, there are many technical indicators, I would like to limit my view only to those which are mostly used. My questions pertain to entering a stock for a short term period (say 1 to 3 weeks).

    1. If say a stock has a 20 Day SMA greater than 200 Day SMA or something like that, similarly is that the case to look for EMA as well?

    2. What should be the RSI percentage variation for the stock entry?

    3. Do we need to follow any other indicator apart from these, specifically when looking out for a stock for a limited time frame of 1 to 3 weeks.

    Thanks,
    Indu

Hi Paritosh, :) ok. sure, can go with Jasch ind, jvl agro, ortin labs

Hi Akash, yes, likely to test 2

Hi Prashant, does look good. can test 475. hold onto it

Hi Sumit, I have emailed you his id

Hi Indu, sure. look for stocks making fresh 3-4 month highs with more than avg volumes. its best to enter stocks trading above 200dma/sma/ema. RSI could be above 30-40%

    Hi CB,Kartik, Good afternoon :)
Hi Indu, Good afternoon. To add to CB's reply :
    1) Yes. The only difference being that EMA gives more weightage to recent data. Since you talked about short term, EMA should also do well
    2) There is no hard and fast rule as to RSI percentage variation. For stocks which have the history of high momentum and if you do not want to miss the beginning of that momentum, you can tweak the overbought level to 80 from 70. Similarly can reduce the oversold level to 20 from 30. Do a backtest if possible with different scrips and see which setting suit which scrip. But normally, default parameters should do well
    3) Normally these should do. But since you want to go for short term and want to ride momentum, you can think of using another momentum indicator/oscillator. When two momentum indicators are in harmony, you chance of winning in a trade increases

Hi jakeer, GE. No, not yet. Rising from the last 3 trading sessions. Let it show weakness and also keep a watch on 20.50. Resistance there. Lets see if it manages to break it or not. For now, better to wait

Thank you very much CB Sir.

    Hi SM Sir,

Good evening. Thanks for the valuable information.

Which other indicator/oscilliator, you suggest apart from the RSI momentum indicator?

Basically, I'm looking for a short term trading period based on these technical indicators.

    Many Thanks,
    Indu.
