Hi CB..... i tried to book the loss in jsw holding as it was out of circuit for a while.....but on placing the order i got the message ' can't trade in this scrip in this market(that means today's special market)....... then i would like to know how others are trading or how there is a movement in the stock as such? now since it has been moved to T segment, that means no intraday, no shorting...... then whoever is holding can only sell.....then why am i not allowed to sell? is the exchange policy or the individual broker's wish?

No.... i just tried placing the order again after seeing your reply..... i get the following message
" Security is not allowed to trade in this market"....
anyways, hope things will reverse soon, and i will feel happy for not having been able to place the order today to book the loss!! living on positive thinking....

i exited jsw at 65.10....taken delivery on 65 five days before ...it is going up..shall icover it so i can sell on monday 66+
